Now here’s a story of turning a lemon into lemonade if I ever heard one. After losing his eye in an unfortunate gun accident at age 11, Filmmaker Rob Spence aspired to completely transform his circumstances. Ultimately intending to install a video camera into the prosthetic eye to “explore privacy and surveillance issues, the LED was essentially just to tests the waters. Now hailed the “Eyeborg”, he has begun collaborating with his ocularist and a couple of camera companies to make his dream, a reality.
